First of them would be –
1.What is Volare Finance?
Shawn:
Please first let me introduce myself. My name is Shawn. I have been worked at VolareFinance for 3 years. I joined the crypto field from 2017 with Da HongFei in Neo technology as PR director. Then I worked with him and helped Neo from 1 USDT to 200 USDT, It was a crazy time.
Then I joined VolareFinance in 2022 and served as Managing Director. Core product team of Volare is a combination of traditional option traders, quants from top New York investment banks, and blockchain architect engineers, full-stack developers with high profiles. The core operation and marketing team also has rich experience, decent tracking records, connections with top tier players, such as VCs, potential partners, exchanges and influencers in crypto. That’s why we are confident enough to take such a role in the market.
VolareFinance is a leading provider of option trading, that provides a transparent, trustworthy, and convenient decentralized mechanism without intermediaries on options trading which can imitate the serviceability of centralized exchanges.
Volare’s DeFi protocol creates a perfect solution for trading options in crypto. It provides a DeFi option protocol for European options, Option combos,Exotic options and Perpetual options. It also allows investors to invest in standard or customized option strategies portfolios and provides clients tools for hedging, speculation and yield enhancement based on its infrastructure.
We’ve raised more than 6M from big names like DCG, Arrington, Ava labs, Huobi Ventures in 2022 and launched V2 (Testnet) in Feb 2023. This Version includes new features like Options Trading, Strategy, Margin, Liquidate, etc. V2 is a completely decentralized Option platform.
However, it not only innovates and improves the features of DeFi Option, but more importantly, we are actively exploring decentralized finance, based on decentralized methods of smart contracts, to form liquidity management, trading, liquidating, and other processes in the brand new Option field.
We are now working on the Volare V3 and it will be launched soon. V3 is based on Perpetual options.Volare’s perpetual option has better liquidity than traditional options because we are making it easier to match and trade:
- There is no expiration date, so traders won’t be restricted by this elements;
- The seller can set the exercise price by himself, so there are more trading options;
- With AMM, traders won’t have to monitor the market and exercise options by themselves.
Before the launching of V3, We’ve launched a Mini Options game called “Prediction Game” to let more people get known of the the principles and trading of options.

- What is “Prediction Game”？Talk about Volare Options Trading Simulation Competition
Shawn:
Yeah, the Option Prediction game is an option product based on the basic technical architecture of VolareFinance. Users can predict the rise and fall of the corresponding underlying assets and purchase the corresponding Long or Short to obtain benefits.
At present, each round of the game is 10 mins. For distance, in a certain round of the game, if you are optimistic about the price increase of an asset (such as ETH), you will buy a certain amount of Long; if you are optimistic about the price drop of an asset (such as ETH), you will buy a certain amount of Short. After the end of the round of the game, the final price of ETH is compared with the price of the Strike Price to determine whether Long or Short wins. The winner will share the prize.
In about 2 weeks after the launch of the project, our transaction volume exceeded 60M, and the average daily transaction volume exceeded 4M.

- What are the future plans for your project? Will there be similar campaigns in the future?
Shawn:
Perpetual, Options and other financial derivatives are the important parts of Defi. For us, we will be committed to digging deep into various types of products in the Defi field to form a platform that covers options, Dex, Staking-restaking and other derivatives. complete ecology. It’s a long way to go, but we’re fully confident. Stay tuned.
We are working hard to develop Perpetual Options and will launch it soon. We expect to launch perpetual options products in the Q4 of this year and TGE probably in Q1 of next year.

What kind of assets will be available for perpetual options trading when V3 officially launches?

Good question.At first, we will make ETH, BTC involved as our underlying assets. Because these two assets have the largest traffic and users. At the same time, we allowed Avax to be involved because Avalanche is our investor and key partner. We will deploy on Avalanche’s mainnet synchronous.
Meantime, we will also support other assets such as SOL, Polygon and Link, etc. In the future, we will charge some tokens if they want to join our ecosystem. Because as the underlying asset of our perpetual options, it can bring them traffic and users.

What is Volare’s roadmap, and where does it currently stand on it?

Volare has completed European options and European margin trading on Defi, and is currently working on V3, which is the perpetual options part and is expected to be launched in Q4 of 2024.
Prediction Game is a preheating product for V3, and let users to familiarize themselves with Defi option trading so that they can better participate in the next stage of perpetual options. After the launch of V3, we plan to TGE in January of 2025.

What are some strategies traders can use to maximize their returns when using the Prediction Game?

Actually it mainly depends on people’s predictions and judgments on the rise and fall of the market, especially for the predictions of Underlying assets, such as BTC and ETH.
If in a round, many people bought Long but lost, and you bought Short but won, you can get several times or even dozens of times the return.

It is completely free to join the game. You only need to get the faucet through our TG bot https://t.me/volarefinancebot , and then link your wallet to Metamask to log in to the product page and trade.
Currently, this game does not support leverage, but it will support this feature in our next perpetual options and it will be much more exciting. You could make multiple profits through trading.
